ARMBUSINESS BANK: "Every knot of Sun Carpet (Arevagorg) as a striving for a powerful Motherland, as support to our heroes"

  The employees of ARMBUSINESSBANK tied 1200 knots to the Sun Carpet (Arevagorg), participating in the initiative to weave all-

  Armenian carpet.

  1mln 200 thous. drams were donated by the Bank to “Knot to ...”  joint initiative of the Insurance Foundation for Servicemen and 

  Megerian Carpet by AMD 1,000 for each of the Bank 1,200 staff.

  The objective of the initiative is to make a carpet of Jraberd region of Artsakh with more than 238,000 knots.  An ornamental

  flowered cross, framed by sunrays, is pictured in the middle of the carpet. The cross symbolizes strength and has protective power.

  For about 3 months, many individuals and organizations from Armenia and abroad will tie knots to the carpet...
