In order to further expand the cooperation frameworks on the international platform, "ARMBUSINESSBANK" CJSC hosted the managers of "FORA-BANK" CJSC (Russia) in its Head quarters on June 26 this year.
Through the cooperation with various foreign banking institutions, the universal banking services of FORA-BANK are accessible in over 20 large cities of Russia.
A collaboration with ARMBUSINESSBANK in terms of an interaction with the Armenian banking sector is a matter of utmost interest to Russian "FORA-BANK".
During the meeting, discussions were held between the delegation of "FORA-BANK" CJSC (consisting of 12 representatives of senior management), Mr. Arsen Mikayelyan, Chairman of the Executive Board of "ARMBUSINESSBANK" CJSC, and the managers of structural subdivisions of the Bank.
In the course of the meeting the CEOs of the two banks discussed the current state of the banking system both in Armenia and Russia, as well as the prospects of its development. Moreover, seeking to create a solid foundation for a mutually beneficial cooperation, they presented detailed information on the banking facilities, which the banks under their management render, and got acquainted with the competitive positions in the rankings.
The Chairman of the Executive Board of "ARMBUSINESSBANK" CJSC Mr. Arsen Mikayeyan presented to CEO Mr. Sergey V. Balakin, "FORA-BANK" CJSC, and others the main trends of the potential cooperation between the banks, particularly with respect to the implementation of co-branded card business, opening of correspondent accounts, international money transfers, trade finance and joint loan projects.
