Attaching high importance to the visit of famous Armenians to Armenia in connection with the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, on 23 April, 2015 world-renowned mixed martial arts fighter and kick-boxer - ethnic Armenian Gegard Mousasi (Movsesian) and his brother Gevik Mousasi (Movsesian) arrived in our country on the initiative of ARMBUSINESSBANK.
The Movsesian brothers were triumphantly welcomed at night at "Zvartnots" airport by ARMBUSINESSBANK staff and escorted to the hotel. In the morning, journalists from information and sports sites got together at the Head Office of the Bank, who were all keen on meeting Musasi.
Gegard Mousasi is currently competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and is #7 in official UFC middleweight rankings.
Although Mousasi lives abroad, he maintains close relations with Armenia having always cooperated with ARMBUSINESSBANK trusting to the Bank his bank accounts, savings, and other substantial financial transactions.
Taking into account the long-term cooperation with its customer and business partner Gegard Mousasi and his reputation in the sports world, ARMBUSINESSBANK has undertaken the organization of Armenian-rooted champion’s visit to Armenia in order to expand the geography of the message of the events dedicated to 100th anniversary of Armenian Genocide.
As part of these arrangements, Gegard Mousasi will visit the Memorial Complex dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide to pay his tribute to the victims.
