October 31 is celebrated worldwide as International Savings Day ...

Events dedicated to Savings Day this year were initiated and coordinated by the Fund of German Savings Banks with the participation and support of the Union of Banks of Armenia, Deposit Guarantee Fund and a number of financial institutions.

Within the framework of these events, different format meetings, discussions, competitions and an expo were organized in Yerevan and in the regions of Armenia, in which ARMBUSINESSBANK had its active participation.

On October 30 this year, Advisor to the Chairman of the Executive Board of ARMBUSINESSBANK Ani Ghambaryan held a seminar on the topic "Awareness of savings: savings accounts" for a target group.

On the International Savings Day in "Ashtarak" branch of ARMBUSINESSBANK a competition was held dedicated to the event and for the five winners of the competition term deposits were executed by ARMBUSINESSBANK as a gift funded by the Fund of German Savings Banks.

On the same day in the Union of Banks of Armenia they summed up the results of "Inforaphics" competition on the topic "Making savings with the help of banks" and "Deposit as a safe form of savings" and were announced the names of the 4 selected winners of the competition. One of such winners, a 4th year student and a future financier Ani Ginovyan got a term deposit certificate in the amount of 50,000 drams made on the account of ARMBUSINESSBANK’s own funds.

Events dedicated to management of own finances were summed with the 6th exposition, which this year took place in "Rossia Mall" shopping center. During the expo, ARMBUSINESSBANK presented its services trying to raise the level of financial knowledge among the population and explain the features of personal finances management, encouraging the initiative to make savings.

Summing up the results of the events, which were aimed at the financial education and development of culture of making savings, ARMBUSINESSBANK once again assures that today's savings are tomorrow's investments...
